From the Terraces: U’s exit FA Cup, fog stops City, Histon’s run ends

Scott McGeorge and Tim Armitage review the weekend’s football action and look back on a disappointing night for Cambridge United who were left to rue missed second half chances as they went down 2-0 at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup first round. We hear from Neil Harris and there’s discussion around whether the international break will help his out-of-form side. Elsewhere, no-one has the foggiest idea what happens now after Cambridge City’s match with Wroxham was abandoned in the 82nd minute with the hosts leading 1-0. We hear from spectatators, managers and an FA official and get their take on what happened on an afternoon when thick fog stopped play. Chris Nunn also joins the team to discuss his side’s 4-2 defeat at Knowle.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
