Tim steps down from 105 Breakfast

tim-lottie-neil-picNeil Whiteside returns to join Lottie Booth on 105 Breakfast with Lottie & Neil

Tim Willett has stepped aside from 105 Breakfast, handing the baton of porridge to Neil Whiteside, who returns to the show after a three-month absence.

Presenting his last show this morning (Monday), Tim told listeners he would remain with Cambridge 105, both as station manager, and as presenter of the New Music Generator programme. He will continue to be heard regularly across the station’s output.

Said Tim: “I’ve had a fabulous three months with Lottie, but the increasing commitments of my music management business together with a new radio opportunity mean I cannot devote the time that’s necessary for a show like 105 Breakfast. With Neil back alongside Lottie I know the show is in good hands.”

Neil Whiteside added: “It’s great to be working alongside Lottie again and waking up some of the best listeners you could ask for. Tim has done a great job and I wish him all the best in his new ventures.”

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
