12:00 11 hours of coverage from Midsummer Common, starting with the Cambridge Rock Choir and Les Ray’s Strummers and Dreamers showcase with performances from Kitty-May and Shea Rafferty.

 

13:00 Cambridge singer-songwriter Melody Coles and Romsey, Cambridge 105 Radio’s Ones to Watch are on stage at Midsummer Common. Tim Willett, Rebecca May and Alex Elbro are backstage.

 

14:00 Under 18 band Zephyrus take to the Cambridge Radio stage, followed by Peterborough-based Oakes and former ARU student Kaspar Larsen.

 

16:00 Stagger pick Lounge Lizards perform live, followed by BurySOUND finalists Headcheck and Ipswich-based four-piece Afterdrive.

 

18:00 Chris Brown brings his Saturday night soul show to the Cambridge Radio stage.

 

19:00 Jazz-funk legends Red Express will be back on stage at Strawberry Fair for the first time since 1974.

 

20:00 Julian Clover and Scott King present the evening shift starting with four-piece alt rock band Bin Weasel, quirky singer-songwriter Vince Taylor, Dos Floris, who has travelled to Midsummer Common from Italy and The Forsaken, the choice of Rock Show presenter Neil Jones and former Band Competition entrants. The programme concludes with highlights of the day.
