Plus also talk to film composer Ben Salisbury (Ex-Machina) about the current scene for film scores, whilst regular reviewer Faye Gentile speaks to filmmaker Kerith Lemon about her new short film 'A Social Life'. The studio guest on this week's Bookmark is journalist and author, Angela Clarke. Angela’s memoir of working in the fashion industry, Confessions of a Fashionista, is an Amazon bestseller but she joins us to talk about her debut novel, Follow Me, the first in her Social Media Murder Series. Described as ‘chilling’ and ‘invigorating’, the novel focuses on journalist Freddie Venton and her desperate search for the hashtag murderer who’s always one step ahead of her, and lets everyone on social media know it. We also have interviews with former Anglia Ruskin University student, Natalya Anderson on her new venture The Poetry Extension that brings together, in live performance, poets from all over the world. And Cambridge author JS Watts discusses her novels, Witchlight and A Darker Moon (described as ‘Harry Potter for grown-ups) and her new poetry collection, Years Ago You Coloured Me, published this month.
