There’s a nostalgic treat in store when Tony turns the clock back to September 1967, when the bright new Radio 1 arrived at the BBC, chasing out the Home Service and the Light and Third Programmes. The musical bill of fare ranges from Carly Simon to Julie Andrews, Justin Timberlake to Herb Alpert, without his Tijuana Brass. And Suzie Thorpe pops in with another tale from Ben le Vay’s Eccentric Cambridge.
Securing the future of Community Radio
Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.
Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
You can support Cambridge 105 Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
