Shelford Festival & Feast

Friday July 3Saturday July 11

The Shelford Festival and Feast returns in 2026 with a packed programme of music, entertainment and community events running from 3–11 July. A weekly ticket gives access to all events in the Grand Marquee, although several headline evenings have already sold out.

The festival opens on Friday 3 July with chart-topping pop star Pixie Lott, supported by Áine Deane. Alongside live music, festival-goers can enjoy a range of food including burgers, pizzas, baked potatoes and chips.

Saturday features two very different events. During the afternoon, the popular Beer Festival offers free entry, more than 30 beers and ciders from local and regional breweries, live music, and a variety of food. In the evening, Jazzie B replaces the originally advertised Trevor Nelson, who is no longer able to perform. Jazzie B, founder of the legendary Soul II Soul, brings an evening celebrating soul, funk and dance music.

On Sunday 5 July, the traditional Feast Day celebrates village life with displays from local organisations, craft and community stalls, live music, family entertainment, bouncy castles and plenty of food and drink, including spit-roast meats and vegetarian options.

The week continues with family and community events. Monday features a children’s disco, while Tuesday showcases the talents of Sawston Youth Drama, presenting a mix of favourite performances and new productions.

Comedy takes centre stage on Wednesday 8 July, with a sold-out show headlined by Milton Jones, joined by Tom Houghton, Jules O’Brian, and compère Rob Rouse.

Thursday’s ever-popular Quiz Night has also sold out, with teams competing in the village’s annual quiz hosted by Steve Dann, including a meal as part of the evening.

On Friday 10 July, visitors can choose between a concert in St Mary’s Church, featuring the Moonlight Mandolin Orchestra and café jazz band Shakey Breaks the Ice, or watch a FIFA World Cup quarter-final live on the big screen in the Grand Marquee, with free admission.

The festival concludes on Saturday 11 July with Back to the 80s, a popular local tribute band performing classic hits from the decade, supported by What’s Next. With live entertainment, food, drink and activities throughout the week, the 2026 Shelford Festival and Feast offers something for all ages while celebrating the local community.
