As part of this year’s CUH Arts Festival, there will be two events that explore how the arts can shape experiences of care, connection and well-being. Each offers a space for conversation, reflection and shared insight.
Public Art, Care and Connection: The Role of the Artist in Healthcare Environments
Tuesday 30 June, 5:30–7:30pm, CRUK, Cambridge Biomedical Campus / or via livestream
Join artists Amalia Pica, Ivan Morison, Jo Hummel and Mark Titchner, in conversation with Rosie Cooper (Director, Wysing Arts Centre), to explore how artists, clinicians and communities can collaborate to create healthcare environments that inspire creativity, promote wellbeing and humanise healthcare. Followed by a networking reception.

Goodbye Breasts! – Documentary Screening & Q&A
Thursday 2 July, 5:30–8:00pm, CRUK, Cambridge Biomedical Campus
Join us for a screening of Goodbye Breasts! + Q&A with filmmaker Joanna Callaghan in conversation with Natalie Ellis (Head of Arts, Cambridge University Hospitals). An inspiring film about breast cancer and recovery, and how creativity and the arts can open up conversations around health. Followed by a networking reception, hosted by the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre.
