Beasts

The Museum of Cambridge is collaborating with Cambridge-based theatre group Encounters this June on “Beasts”, an immersive promenade show that guides audiences through the rooms of the 17th-century Museum building where they are met by Beasts magical, mythical, mystical.

Through a rich – sometimes challenging – mixture of stories, poetry, sound, voice, music and movement, the show explores the idea of Beasts in the widest possible sense. Audiences may meet Beasts from distant times and places… Beasts from medieval bestiaries and classical myths… Beasts from Cambridge itself.

Tickets: £20, including post-show refreshments

After each performance, audience members are invited to stay and “Meet the Actors”.
