Fight to save ‘last’ Hills Road tree

A Hills Road resident is calling for action to save one of the last large trees on the route.

The Common Lime tree, between Brooklands Avenue and Station Road, is said to be damaging the pavement.

But campaigner Richard Waggon tells Julian Clover Hills Road has seen a gradual decline in its canopy and the tree should be protected.
