Cambridge is celebrating the life and music of one of its most famous sons, Pink Floyd co-founder Syd Barrett, in what would have been his 80th birthday year.
A week of events includes an exhibition of his original artwork, a new tribute album featuring David Gilmour, David Bowie and other major artists, and a sold-out concert at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Saturday — World Mental Health Day.
Julian Clover speaks to organiser Neil Jones.
