Cambridge MP gives support to Marshall’s development

Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner has welcomed the acquisition of Cambridge East by Homes England and The Hill Group.

The 700-acre site, which includes Cambridge City Airport, has been bought from Marshall Group.

It could deliver more than 10,000 new HOMES, at least 3 million square feet of commercial space and around 9,000 jobs.

The plans also include schools, healthcare facilities and green space.

Julian Clover spoke to Daniel Zeichner on Thursday’s Cambridge Breakfast.
