Cambridge 105’s Matt Webb is competing with the best of UK radio talent in this year’s Sony Radio Academy Awards.
Matt, who presents the Tuesday and Thursday Lunchtime shows, is taking part in the Sony Golden Headphones Award, a new award category that allows members of the public to vote for their favourite radio presenter.
Matt has worked in the radio industry for over 10 years and has been involved with a variety of community and commercial stations in this time.
Matt says: “I’m so excited to be in participating in this award category. The Sony’s are one, if not the biggest award celebrations and the pinnacle of excellence within the UK radio industry. Being in the running for the category’s prize is very special indeed”.
