Tim & Lottie lead new Cambridge 105 daytime line-up

Tim Willett has been announced as the new presenter of 105 Breakfast, alongside Lottie Booth, starting in the New Year. He replaces Neil Whiteside who is stepping down from the show on December 24th.

Tim joins from 105 Drive, which he has presented for the last 18 months, with Sunday Breakfast presenter Julian Clover moving to 105 Drive. Phil Rowe becomes the new voice of Sunday Breakfast.

In addition, Tim will also present a new weekday evening show based around the New Music Generator sessions that will continue to feature as part of 105 Drive.

Tim Willett said: “I’m not a natural morning person, but the opportunity to present 105 Breakfast alongside Lottie, was something that I couldn’t turn down. It’s great that I will also be able to continue showcasing local music in the New Music Generator. Cambridge has some great talent that deserves a wider audience.”

“Lottie Booth said: “It’s been a fantastic six months presenting 105 Breakfast alongside Neil, but what better way to start 2013 than to have Tim as the new man in my life.”

Tim’s last 105 Drive will be on December 21st. He will join with co-presenter Lottie Booth for his first 105 Breakfast at 7am on January 7th.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
