Talking Men with Matt Webb – International Men’s Day

Matt’s joined in the studio by domestic violence survivor and male victims campaigner Alex Skeel. Alex talks about the violence and abuse he suffered at the hands of his ex-girlfriend and a fundraising event he’s organising in aid of the Mankind Initiative.

Ahead of International Men’s Day on Monday 19th November we hear from Glen Poole, UK co-ordinator of the awareness day about what we can expect this year.

Matt also speaks to Elizabeth Hobson, Director of Communications at the political party Justice for Men and Boys (and the women who love them).

Securing the future of Local Radio

Cambridge 105 Radio is the local broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge 105 Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
