A tall story and `hot’ music meet in a celebratory radio play for Black History month.
A Waltz in New Orleans is the yarn of the greatest jazz musician you’ve never heard of. Narrated by the drummer who might just have invented jazz, and brought to life with a live band. A celebratory radio play created for Black History month – A Waltz in New Orleans was commissioned for The Library Presents In Your House and funded by The Arts Council England.
After the play Adrian Waka leads a discussion with the cast and crew.
