Saturday Breakfast with Chris Duerden and Brian Harris, keeping a close eye on what you can get up to in Cambridge over the weekend, including our cinema guide at 9:30am. Throughout the show we chat about the week's most interesting news and entertainment stories, and at 10:30am we look ahead to the weekend's sporting action. The show this morning considers ARGO, Ben Affleck's already highly praised mix of Hollywood satire and hostage drama, the award winning French melodrama RUST AND BONE, and THE SAPPHIRES, an Australian comedy about four aboriginal women who form a girl group in the late sixties. We'll also preview the CAMBRIDGE AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL with the second part of our interview with Dr Lindiwe Dovey, programmer for FILM AFRICA, who talks about the future shape of the African cinema, as well as looking at some of the films screenings as part of festival.

Flavour

12:00 - 13:00 FlavourListen Again

Flavour is a fortnightly show dedicated to food and drink produced and enjoyed in and around Cambridge. We tell you about what is available locally, in specialist food stores, cafes, restaurants and wine merchants. We interview local brewers, growers, bee keepers, bakers and market stall holders. We find out about good cook books, and discuss health and nutrition myths with experts. There is a regular what’s on guide and a review of the food items in the Saturday quality press as well as some food-related music.
