Chantel has established herself as one of the most exciting rock blues guitarists in the country. Described as a "prodigy", at 14 she was told by major labels: "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!". She wisely ignored that advice. After clinching a first class honours degree in popular music, she stepped out in the pro-musician world with her own rock blues trio.
