April's Making Mental Notes programme is about carers for people with Dementia and other mental health illnesses. The programme will feature an interview with Dr Susan Welsh, Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director for Cambridge & Peterborough Foundation Trust talking about the work she does for Trust and her role in setting up the Dementia Carers Support Service. Our guests for the discussion include Sally Kitchin a joint leader of the Dementia Carers Support Service in Cambridge and Barry Sutton and Beverley Dowell who are ex-family carers working as volunteers for this support service.

Also on the show there will be poetry by Matthew Barker and Vicky McWilliams, music from Mark Metcalfe and Squeaky Gate, Ruth will be reviewing The Beaver directed by Jodie Foster and Astrid will be reviewing a documentary called Open dialogue. Programme Website
