As regular listeners will know, we like meeting inspirational women on 21st Century Women, and in June’s programme we meet three. Naomi Davies is an artist and genealogist; her sister Dr Anna Williams is a forensic anthropologist who is seeking to start the UK’s first body farm. Several years ago, Joanne Burroughes had breast cancer and went through gruelling treatment to beat it. To thank the Willow Foundation who helped her and her family through the dark days, Joanne is raising money by trekking in Iceland. And we speak to Mikey Kowalczyk Principal of the Cambridge Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts.
Presented by Linda Ness, Liz Kelly and Bobby Jones. Programme Website
