The Blues Show with Gary Blue

23:00 - 01:00 The Blues Show with Gary Blue

Two of the biggest figures for British Blues were called home: Tony TS McPhee and his band The Groundhogs were often first choice to back the touring US blues stars in the 60s & 70s. Like John Lee Hooker. The other, Otis Grand, brought the big band swinging blues arrangements back in style for the last 30 years. He even organized a touring revue of length & breadth of the UK for five weeks. Doubt that will ever happen again. Programme Website
