In the show Ray plays some of the early rock and roll records that influenced him when he was growing up. He talks about his early performing career and the people he’s played with then and since. Jazz Today is back! Pete Butchers features music from London to Latvia by way of darkest Vienna. That includes the reeds of Paul van Kemenade and Daniele D’Agaro, the trumpets of Verneri Pohjola and Magnus Schriefl and the keyboards of Uli Datler and Craig Taborn.
