As well as teaching classics at Oxford University, Harry is author of the Warrior of Rome series, and Iron and Rust, his first book in a new series Throne of the Caesars is out this month in paperback. He talks about why classical history still has such a pull over us and how to write a good battle scene. We also have interviews with Kaddy Benyon, Invited Poet at the Scott Polar Research Institute, on picking the brains of Arctic explorers.
