Flavour (04/02/12)

Matt visits the ‘Gog Magog Hills Farm Shop‘ on the outskirts of Cambridge to chat with Charles & Marcus Bradford. Alan interviews Joseph Kennedy of the ‘Blackbar Brewery‘, who rather famously deliver by bike! We also pay a return visit to Rosie Hogg of ‘Books for Cooks‘ in Notting Hill for some of the latest recommendations, and finally Matt reports back on this year’s ‘Seedy Sunday‘ in Trumpington: part of a national event held to increase biodiversity awareness and protest against the increasing control of the seed supply by a handful of large companies. All this, as well as a brief ‘What’s On’ guide of interesting food events in and around Cambridge, our Newspaper roundup of interesting food articles in the days papers, and of course some tenuously linked music choices!

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
