Flavour (03/03/12)

Its ‘A Bridge on the River Cam’ as Matt dons his best Alec Guiness impression and heads west in search of Nord, a fashionable new Scandinavian interior design shop and cafe on Bridge Street! Alan pays a visit to Noel Young Wines on Trumpington High Street and finally Matt crosses over the river to speak with Lina Benedetto of Italian Restaurant La Margherita.

In addition Flavour will also bring you information on Wild Country Organics and some news AND a competition about Fairtrade Fortnight!. And of course there’ll be a smattering of the usual staples; a ‘What’s On’ foodie roundup of events in and around Cambridge for the coming fortnight, our Newspaper review and a yorkshire pud or two of appropriately themed music tracks!

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
