Mike’s marathon in aid of EACH

Renegade Rock presenter Mike Hauser is broadcasting through the night this Friday with a special 12-hour programme to raise money for the East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH).

The Milton-based charity, whose patron is the Duchess of Cambridge, supports children and their families with the challenges that having a life-threatening condition can often bring.

The show will run from 8pm on Friday December 21st through to 8am on Saturday morning.

“This will be the second year that I am doing this fundraiser,” says Mike “Inspired by watching my healthy kids, I found myself considering kids not so fortunate. I therefore felt I had to do something for them”.

Mobile phone text message donations can now be made by sending a text to 70070 Typing the code EACH73 and then the amount £?

You can also donate online through the Just Giving website.

Once you’ve made a donation you can also email your song choices to rock@cambridge105.fm

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
