Cambridge 105 has announced Merlin Kothari is to become the new voice of 105 Breakfast.
25-year-old Merlin takes over the reigns from Tim Willett & Lottie Booth who presented their last show together on December 20.
Merlin joins from the Overnight Radio Network. He also presents a Sunday evening show on Ramsey-based Fenland Radio.
An avid marathon runner, Merlin took part in the 2013 London Marathon and Bournemouth Marathons. In 2014 he plans to run marathons in London, Bournemouth and Bristol.
Merlin spends his free time cooking, swimming, and is addicted to anything sci-fi.
Tim will continue to present his New Music Generator programme on Wednesday and will be heard across the 105 schedule.
Lottie also intends to make appearances on Cambridge 105.
Neil Whiteside, who presented 105 Breakfast up to his motorcycle accident in October, will also continue to be a regular on the station.
