Lottie joins Neil as new Cambridge 105 Breakfast co-host

CAMBRIDGE – June 6, 2012. Cambridge 105 is serving up a new voice in the morning as Lottie Booth joins Neil Whiteside as co-presenter of Cambridge 105 Breakfast.

Cambridge-born Lottie (24) made her first appearance on the programme at 7am this morning having previously taken part in Cambridge 105’s exclusive coverage of Strawberry Fair.

The show is broadcast live from studios in the centre of Cambridge and benefits from being targeted at the city alone.

Lottie commented: “The early starts don’t worry me a bit. They told me Neil would be grumpy, but he’s not grumpy at all, and the listener feedback is brilliant”.

Neil added: “It was obvious from the start that we had found a real talent in Lottie. One of the roles of community radio is to train people in the skills needed for broadcasting.”

In addition to contemporary and classic hits, Cambridge 105 Breakfast includes the latest news and travel, and prize competitions.

Cambridge 105 Breakfast with Neil & Lottie can be heard every weekday morning between 7am and 9.30am on 105 FM and online at cambridge105.co.uk.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
