Live music in the Cambridge 105 Strawberry Fair marquee

Cambridge105 At Strawberry Fair 2011Cambridge 105 will once again be broadcasting live from Strawberry Fair (June 1st) – and this time, for even longer than before! We’ll be live from 11am to 11pm with 12 hours of live music and interviews from Midsummer Common.

Glenn & Ellen kick off the coverage from 11am featuring reports from the Strawberry Parade with roving reporter Matt Webb.

The music begins at 12:30pm when 12 artists supported by Cambridge 105 will perform live in the Cambridge 105 marquee – it’s a diverse line up with something for everyone.

Presenters through the day will include Glenn Jones, Ellen Rusby, Matt Webb, Davina Rosen, Neil Whiteside, Lottie Booth, Tim Willett, Julian Clover, Les Ray, Greg Butler and Kipper.

Our music will conclude at 10pm when we hand over to an hour of dance music and remixes courtesy of the B Side Project.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
