Cambridge 105 has launched its first live mid-afternoon show with Greg’s Afternoon Record Club. Greg Butler presents the two-hour programme every Thursday afternoon from 2pm, live from the Cambridge 105 studios in Gwydir Street.
On the show Greg invites his guests to dig deep into their cupboards and bring their favourite vinyl records into the studio to discuss why they enjoy them.
In between the records, Greg will give details of what’s on in Cambridge. To make sure your event is mentioned, email publicity@cambridge105.co.uk.
On the very first show Greg is joined by blues guitarist John Wright, who also runs the free entry Wednesday Sessions at the Boat House every week.
As well as leading his own blues band Split Whiskers, John also plays guitar for Kimberley Rew’s Jack and Lee Cave-Berry amongst many others.
Guests later in November include Cambridge 105’s Underdog and Saturday Breakfast presenter Chris Duerden, plus Cambridge’s favourite master of musical ceremony Tom Dalpra, who comperes the Songsmith Sessions at The Alma alongside Ezio Lunedei.
You can tune into Greg’s Afternoon Record Club every Thursday on Cambridge 105 at 2pm by setting your radio dial on 105 FM or you can listen online at cambridge105.co.uk
