Daniel Baker and Tim Armitage preview the weekend’s football action. Cambridge United have a week off due to internationals, so they assess the U’s season so far, how their players have been performing for their countries and what they need to work on ahead of their return to the field. Elsewhere, Cambridge City have a huge FA Cup tie with Alvechurch and will be one match away from the first round proper if they win. We hear from manager Mickey Spillane. Histon are also back to winning ways and welcome Daventry Town to Bridge Road, a team manager Chris Nunn knows well. We get his thoughts on that fixture, plus the latest women’s football news and a report on City’s women’s amputee team who are welcoming some special guests later this month.
