The Cambridge History Festival is underway, and it includes a look at some historic food and drink. Festival organiser Caroline Biggs is our guide. Most of us know that eating meat isn’t good for the planet. But why? And how can we reduce our meat consumption? Luke Braidshaw reports on an upcoming talk and discussion. Maybe eating more celeriac is the answer. Nazima Pathan of Franglais Kitchen has some ideas for this neglected vegetable, including using it in a dessert.
