– 12th July 2014: Books for Cooks in Notting Hill recommend some key titles. Ebury Press’ Sarah Lavelle weighs in on the new Ottolenghi book, a visit to the country’s top Cookery school, and the opening of Cambridge’s first cycle cafe.

 

– 28th June 2014: An Apple Orchard is coming to Cambridge! Also new restaurant Smokeworks on Free School Lane, Nazima Pathan’s Spice of the Month is Vanilla, and the final Tapa of the Month from Estefania Led Ramos.

 

– 14th June 2014: Illustrating plans for a new farmers market in Madingley Road. Heidi White talks about the new ‘foodPark’ in Station Road. We interview a new coffee supplier on Cambridge Market; Aoife Maxwell presents two new cocktail recipes & Stella Pereira talks about her recent event for Eat Cambridge 2014.

 

– 31st May 2014: A report on the Eat Cambridge debate, interviews with Two Little Cats bakery and Warming your Cockles coffee cart on Riverside. Potatoes rioja style from Estefania Led Ramos & two more cocktails from Aoife Maxwell.

 

– 17th May 2014:With features from the Eat Cambridge Night Market, the regular cocktail and spice of the month features, a chat with Heidi White about the forthcoming foodPark, and Siesta Fiesta in Dry Drayton.

 

– 3rd May 2014: Exploring an eel & jam feast, an eight-course meal at The Three Horseshoes in Madingley, the street food festival accompanying ‘Eat Cambridge’. Food performers Hunt & Darton pop-up on Bridge Street, and AfternoonTease has a ‘sweeteasy’. Then there’s our Tapa of the Month, Samovar Tea in Ely, and Chocolat Chocolat celebrates its 5th Anniversary

 

– 19th April 2014: We interview Caroline Biggs of Eat Cambridge, and Estefania Led Ramos , Stella Pereira, Kyung Lim, Ozzy Beck & Simon Fraser from Hot Numbers talk about their Eat Cambridge fringe events. More Spice and Cocktail of the Month & the opening of the Garden Kitchen cafe bar on Mill Road.

 

– 5th April 2014: A look back at the final of the Cambridge Bake Off, Tapa of the Month, Bridges Patisserie on the current trend in juices & smoothies, and Julian Clover at the Varsity Hotel on matching wine with steak.

 

– 22nd March 2014: Featuring Jack’s Gelato, the new Sandwich bar on King Street, Caroline Biggs on Eat Cambridge 2014 and cumin features in Spice of the Month.

 

– 8th March 2014: How food hygiene ratings are awarded. Cambridge’s five food banks, Fiona McDuff talks about this years’ Cambridge Bake Off, and we attend wine specialist Tom Lewis’ Crus Bourgeois wine tasting evening.

 

– 22nd February 2014: Where to get ingredients devised by El Bulli in Spain, Mo pho street food and classic Manhattan cocktail fails under Aoife Maxwell’s spotlight. Also Tom Lewis on part 2 of his food & wine-matching guide.

 

– 8th February 2014: Discussing food poverty in Cambridge, Gigi Perry discusses her food writing, Tom Lewis on Part 1 of his food & wine matching guide, and new feature Spice of the Month.
