FlavourSourcing high-quality food is a theme this week. We speak with Truffleface who is supplying Cambridge with the rare fungal delicacy, and also to Nazima Pathan whose Cambridge Food Collective is about to open with more than 500 high-quality locally-sourced foods. We hear about good but misshapen vegetables being turned into WOUP soup and get growing advice from Dave Fox from Trumpington Allotments. We also visit a local restaurant that’s under new ownership, and a hot food outlet on the market. Presented by Alan Alder.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
