Cambridge 105 is once again opening the doors of its Gwydir Street studios – as we hold our third World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Saturday 26 September from 10am, there’s the chance to enjoy tea, coffee and home made cakes in the company of your favourite Cambridge 105 presenters.
Local musicians and artists will be performing a selection of acoustic music across the morning.
There’s also the chance to take a look behind the scenes of your community radio station – which has recently celebrated its fifth birthday on air.
Last year, Cambridge 105 raised nearly £300 for Macmillan and is the only radio station in England to hold an open coffee morning in its own studios.
Presenter Matt Webb, who’s been organising the event, says: “We’ve built up a great partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support and Cambridge 105 over the last 3 years. Our annual coffee morning is a staple in our fundraising calendar and is a great opportunity for our listeners and presenters to raise money together, in support of Cambridge families who are touched by cancer”.
Cambridge 105’s studios are situated on the Gwydir Street Enterprise Centre, just off Mill Road and Norfolk Street. For a map and directions, click here.
