Waterstones Book Evenings

£5.00 – £8.00On Saturday, 12 October at 6pm join author Bex Hogan as she celebrates the publication of Nettle – a haunting, heart wrenching tale inspired by faery myth and folklore of a girl called Nettle in a dark, foreboding faery kingdom.She will be in conversation with fellow YA fantasy author Holly Race.
Join Booker shortlisted author Daisy Johnson on Wednesday 16 October at 6pm as she discusses her highly-anticipated new collection of short stories, The Hotel – a stunning triumph of contemporary horror set in the fens that will haunt you long after you turn the final page. . She will be in conversation with Megan Hunter, author of The End We Start From (Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month May 2018; adapted for the screen starring Jodie Cromer) and The Harpy.
Award-winning author of Small Pleasures Clare Chambers will be in the bookshop on Wednesday, 23 October at 6pm to discuss her new, captivating novel Shy Creatures – a life-affirming novel about all the different ways we can be confined, the joy of freedom, and the transformative power of kindness. Book signing to follow.
The events will take place at 6.00 pm Waterstones Cambridge, 22 Sidney Street, Cambridge, CB2 3HG. Tickets are £8 for General Admission, £5 for Waterstones Loyalty Cardholders, book and ticket options are available. Tickets are available to purchase on the Waterstones website.
