Conductor, composer, author, pianist, activist, educator and entertainer, Leonard Bernstein was one of the titans of music making in the 20th century. His command of multiple musical languages, daring juxtapositions of style, and his fluency of invention ensures that his musical reputation is even more elevated today than it was in the years immediately following his death. Rob Barron’s trio, with guest vocalist Emma Smith, present their own interpretation of the hits from West Side Story, plus a range of music from Candide, On The Town, Wonderful Town, A Quiet Place and more.
