The Ferryman
Tuesday April 28–Saturday May 2
£13.50 – £19.50The Carneys have farmed their land in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, for generations. In August 1981, Quinn Carney brings in the harvest and everyone looks forward to the traditional feast. But Quinn is a man with a past. Ten years previously, his younger brother Seamus “disappeared” from the family home, leaving behind a wife and young son. Several sightings have been reported, but he has never been found. Now he has. A dead body in a bog just across the Irish border.
The consequences re-open many wounds which have never healed.
And then the IRA come to call…
