Strawberry Fair 2026

Saturday June 6

Returning to Midsummer Common on 6 June, 2026.

Every year, on the first Saturday of June, Midsummer Common transforms into a colourful, buzzing field full of music, art, and culture as Strawberry Fair takes over Cambridge.

Since 1973, Strawberry Fair has grown into one of the UK’s biggest volunteer-run, free festivals, welcoming tens of thousands of people each year — but it’s never lost its heart.

It’s all about creativity, inclusivity, and that unmistakable Cambridge spirit. From the moment you arrive, there’s a spark in the air. Music drifts across the Common, laughter spills out from every corner, and creativity is everywhere you look.

Strawberry Fair is built by volunteers who pour their energy into creating something truly special. It’s independent, not-for-profit, and proudly powered by the Cambridge people coming together to make this festival magical.

What the day holds …

Live music everywhere — from chilled acoustic vibes to full-on festival energy across multiple stages/Performances and surprises popping up when you least expect them/ Hands-on workshops where you can jump in, make, and create/ Stalls and makers showing off the best of local creativity/ Street food and treats to keep you fueled all day long

With over 10 hours of music, art, and activity, you can dip in, dive deep, or just soak it all up at your own pace.
