Stourbridge Medieval Fair
Saturday September 7
Free12.00 – 4.30pm at Leper Chapel, Cambridge
Re-enactment of the famous Stourbridge Fair at Cambridge’s oldest building, the Leper Chapel. This wonderful, popular event for all the family allows you to step back in time to a medieval age. Witness the traditional way of opening the fair at noon and the costumed dancers.
As well as dancing, there will be singing, storytelling, stalls, crafts and fascinating history talks. You can also experience the historic chapel, which is normally closed.
Free event but donations very welcome.
Please note, there is no car parking at the Chapel itself, but car parking is available on nearby streets. There will be a portaloo available or alternatively the nearest public toilet is 300 metres. There is a large step into the Chapel.
