Romance Writers at Waterstones
Wednesday February 5
With Valentine’s day just around the corner, Waterstones Cambridge is hosting a panel of romance writers whose books you’re sure to fall in love with. Join Lisa Carter, Cesca Major, and Annabelle Slator on Wednesday, 5 February at 6pm.
About the authors
Lisa Carter is a former journalist now debut novelist who lives in London with her husband and three sons. Six Poppies is a sweeping, epic novel about how love can bring us back from the darkest times.
Cesca Major is a novelist and screenwriter who lives in Berkshire with her husband, son and twin girls. If I Were You is a funny and emotional read about a couple struggling in their relationship who accidentally swap bodies on their way to a family wedding weekend.
Annabelle Slator is a writer and former marketing manager who lives with her husband and two mini dachshunds. Her debut novel The Launch Date is a swoon-worthy rom-com that offers a fresh take on the fake dating trope, inspired by her time working at the global dating app, Bumble.
Isabelle Broom is the author of eleven escapist romantic novels – number twelve is currently in progress – all of which are set in different locations around the world. An avid traveler herself, Broom takes the reader on a journey in every book.
