Friday June 21–10:00–17:00
Bring your friends, colleagues, children or come solo to enjoy the sounds of the city – this is a community event for all to enjoy!
Cambridge Station Square will be alive with music from 11am – 7pm, and it’s FREE, so there’s something to enjoy at all times of day.
Make Music Day UK is an annual celebration of music-making with events in communities across the world on the 21st of June (to mark the summer solstice) and now takes place in more than 125 countries.
Cambridge 105 Radio will be broadcasting live to bring highlights of the festival to the airwaves. The stage is in Station Square near Gail’s, visible as you exit the train station. foodPark will be serving up the food and drink – so grab a deckchair and enjoy the show. Expect great tunes, music for all tastes, and plenty of friendly faces.
Our headline act is Cambridge’s very own Mr Griff. A session drummer turned front man, songwriter and multi instrumentalist, playing catchy, soulful and incredibly funky original music, alongside a live band.
Any additions to the day will be posted on our Facebook Page so register your interest and stay up to date.
