Cantus Quintus Consort

Cantus Quintus will be performing in Ely on the 23rd July, 7 pm, at St Mary’s Church.
The programme, ‘What Is Our Life’, is performed with only one or two voices, and the rest of the parts played on viols, which combines the gorgeous warmth of a consort of viols with outstanding clarity for the voice and the text. The programme includes madrigals by Orland Gibbons, Wilbye and Campion, consort songs by William Byrd, and consort music by Jenkins and Purcel
