£8.00Join recipe developer, baking columnist, and practising psychologist Helen Goh on Wednesday 17 September at 6pm as she discusses her new book Baking and the Meaning of Life – a remarkable collection of recipes which explores the joy and meaning of baking in all its guises. Helen Goh has been a recipe developer with Yotam Ottolenghi for more than a decade and co-authored the bestselling baking book Sweet and the family food book Comfort. A trained psychologist, she combines psychology practice with a cooking career, becoming head pastry chef at a landmark restaurant in Melbourne, Australia, before moving to London. She will be in conversation with food writer, historian, journalist, and author of The Heart-Shaped Tin, Bee Wilson.
The event will take place at Waterstones Cambridge, 22 Sidney Street, Cambridge, CB2 3HG. Tickets are £8 for General Admission, £5 for Waterstones Loyalty Cardholders, and book and ticket options are available.
