Cambridge 105 has come out on top in a rolling study of social media activity by top industry website Media UK.
It shows there is more social media activity related to Cambridge 105 than any of the other local stations.
Media UK measures the activity on popular social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. It takes into account ‘Likes’ of the Cambridge 105 website, shared links and user comments.
Cambridge 105 social media editor Julian Clover said the figures were all the more impressive because Cambridge 105 broadcasts predominantly to the City of Cambridge, compared to the countywide and regional coverage areas of most of its competitors.
