Cambridge 105 Radio is returning to Cherry Hinton Hall this week for coverage of the 2018 Cambridge Folk Festival (August 2-5).
Listeners on Digital, Online and FM will be able to enjoy over 20 hours from the Festival including special editions of Drive with Julian Clover, Strummers & Dreamers with Les Ray and The Eclectic Light Show with Mandy Morton & Nicola Upson.
The presentation team is completed by Tim Willett, Tobias Bown and Ian Daborn.
In addition to exclusive interviews and live performances from our outside broadcast van Flossie, located in the media area adjacent to the main stage, there will also be coverage from The Den.
The Den is the festival’s space for young, up-and-coming acts, presenting the stars of tomorrow in an intimate and relaxed environment.
Past performers that have gone on to global success after appearing in The Den include Ward Thomas, The Staves, Passenger, The Wandering Hearts and Jake Bugg.
So far this summer the commercially-funded community broadcaster has covered the Cambridge Rock Festival and Strawberry Fair.
Coverage sponsored by the Quy Mill Hotel and Spa
