June 26, 2013: Cambridge 105 was featured in the third part of the networked BBC series Life Savers this week.
The final episode of this powerful series focused on the highly skilled specialists at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, ready to deal with any life threatening injury.
Among the patients is 17 year-old Molly, who was knocked off her moped on the way home from Hills Road Sixth Form College.
A long and dangerous operation followed, but Molly is cheered by hearing her name on the Saturday night show Homebrew, presented by her fellow Hills Road students Huw, James and Naomi.
The programme was recorded last summer with a BBC researcher co-ordinating the filming with Cambridge 105 to ensure the dedication was a complete surprise.
