Cambridge 105 will be broadcasting live from the switch on of the Mill Road Festive Lights on Sunday November 17.
Julian Clover and Lottie Booth will present the programme from outside the Cambridge Bed Centre between 4 and 7pm.
Live music will come from local artists EdwardAlice, StumbleCol, Elliot Porter & The Missing Pieces and Music & Spies, building up to the switch on itself at 6:15pm by Mayor of Cambridge Councillor Paul Saunders.
The lights have been a fixture of the Mill Road since 2009 and this year are sponsored by Cambridge City Council, the Co-operative and Avis, together with many of the independent businesses that characterise this colourful part of Cambridge.
