The Oxjam music festival comes to Cambridge this Saturday (October 20th) and Cambridge 105 will be there to bring you a selection of the bands on offer.
Pete Robbins and Claire Craig will broadcast live from The Emperor, one of six venues around the city that are taking part.
Oxjam is Oxfam’s month-long music festival. It runs all through October with hundreds of events around the UK, all organised by volunteers who know and love their local music scene, all raising money to save lives around the world.
Among those scheduled to appear in the Cambridge Takeover at The Emperor during the broadcast are The Sound of Pop Art, Skimble Shanks, Lavy, Sam Garrett and The Rebel Icons.
The event starts at 12 noon and Cambridge 105 is live from 7pm.
Wristbands to gain entry on the day are on sale at the Ken Stephens Music & Instruments store, 12 Sussex Street and We Got Tickets.
