Cambridge 105 at The Mill Road Winter Fair

One of the highlights of the Cambridge calendar takes place on December 1st when the Mill Road Winter Fair provides a showcase of our city’s most colourful street.

The day includes a carnival parade, samba band Arco Iris, a special Open Studios art event and a Mill Road history tour.

Cambridge 105 will be broadcasting live from Donkey Common – in front of the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre overlooking Parker’s Piece – from 11am.

Our day starts with Greg Butler and a Kipper the Cat special; Sarah Sweet Beats will then give onlookers a live DJ mix, followed by a special Saturday Lunch with Davina & Scratch.

From 2pm Tim Willett and Julian Clover present an afternoon of live music and interviews with special guests Flaming June, Motor Tapes and Lewis Mokler.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
