Stadium dance band Goldstar have established themselves as firm favourites on the community radio station and its weekly local music showcase New Music Generator.

Strummers and Dreamers, Cambridge 105’s fortnightly folk programme, is presenting a show case of acoustic acts from 12pm – 1pm

The annual arts and music gathering takes place on Midsummer Common on Saturday June 7th.

In the run-up to Strawberry Fair the station is hosting a special Strawberry Fair Takeover programme (Saturday May 31, 8pm) that will showcase some of the artists appearing at the fair and feature live performances.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
